Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a bilingual Cashier to deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers, processing transactions, and assisting with finding solutions in English and Spanish. This role supports daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment and helps maintain a clean, well-stocked floor while upholding company policies.

You will assist with merchandising updates, price changes, and customer inquiries, ensuring accurate POS handling, returns, and exchanges.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, understanding).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide Best of the WEST service.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently (POS).
• Assist customers with questions and solutions.
• Maintain merchandise accuracy and stock levels on the floor.
• Promote store programs and upsell when appropriate.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and signposted.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to management.
• Support merchandising updates and price changes as needed.
