Job summary

Cavender’s in Pasadena, TX is hiring a Bilingual Cashier to deliver Best of the WEST customer service. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, answer questions, and assist with finding solutions in both English and Spanish.

You will help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store, stock merchandise, recover displays, and support daily store operations while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Ability to lift, move, and position merchandise during shifts.
• Safe use of store equipment, including handheld devices and ladders.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, including reading and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver Best of the WEST service throughout the shopping experience.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain merchandise accuracy and stock levels on the sales floor.
• Answer questions and provide pricing, promotions, and location information.
• Assist with merchandising updates and housekeeping tasks as needed.
