Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash and electronic transactions.
• Regularly lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the work shift.
• Safely use store equipment, including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies, in accordance with company policies.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and understanding both languages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver Best of the WEST service experience by engaging with them throughout their shopping journey.
• Accurately and efficiently process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and other Point of Sale transactions.
• Assist customers with finding products and answering questions to meet their needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor by stocking merchandise and recovering displays.
• Promote store programs, promotions, and complementary merchandise to enhance the customer experience.
• Support store operations and follow Cavender’s policies and procedures.
• Remain attentive to store safety and security and promptly report concerns to management.
• Report to work on time and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
