Job summary

The successful candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has a high school diploma, strong organizational and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with driving experience. Training in trauma-informed care is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to provide language interpretation.
• Reliable with time-sensitive deadlines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to clients for medical, legal appointments, hearings, and other social services.
• Report behavior of children during transportation to foster parents and treatment team.
• Assist with intake and discharge transportation, including inter-state travel for reunification with a sponsor.
• Assist medical team with administrative tasks as needed.
• Provide language interpretation for appointments as needed.
• Supervise youth in classrooms when required.
• Maintain professional boundaries and trauma-informed environment.
