Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree in a related field from an accredited college.
• Active certification by the governing authority and ESL/TESOL credentials or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• CPR, First Aid, and AEC certified at hire or within 60 days.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish with strong oral/written skills.
• Ability to teach English and basic educational topics to diverse students.
• Flexible and creative in a diverse work setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and self-management.
• Willing to work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Pass medical exams and TB/Hep immunization as required.
• Proof of immunity to vaccine‑preventable diseases; various immunization records.
• 21+ with valid driver's license and clean MVR; background checks.
• Commitment to agency faith-based values and safety requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Plan and facilitate educational curriculum in compliance with requirements.
• Instruct and monitor students using learning materials and equipment.
• Establish clear objectives for learning activities.
• Prepare classroom for activities and provide varied resources.
• Utilize technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Maintain student progress records and observe development.
• Communicate with case manager, clinician, foster parents, and supervisor regularly.
• Participate in school activities and meetings; adhere to program rules and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
