Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Bilingual Call Center Specialist I to handle member inquiries in English and Spanish. The role supports customers with their financial needs, processes transactions, and participates in coaching to improve service quality.

This fully on-site position offers a Mon-Fri 11:30am-7:30pm shift with rotating Saturdays, and includes a paid training program to equip you with the knowledge and tools for success.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish for inbound/outbound member communications.
• Experience in customer service or call center environments is preferred.
• Ability to resolve issues within approved authority and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with telephone requests and answer questions about products and services.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and explain features and benefits to callers.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve member issues.
• Verify member identity to prevent fraud and report suspicious activities.
• Document data discrepancies and follow-up with management as needed.
• Engage in coaching sessions and strive for personal development goals.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
