Ideal School of Allied Health Care in Islandia, NY is seeking a Bursar Coordinator (bilingual Spanish) for a part-time role. You will manage day-to-day cash, accounts payable/receivable, and tuition records, and collaborate with the accountant on payments.

Requirements include 2 years’ experience as Bursar Coordinator or bookkeeper, proficiency with MS Excel and QuickBooks, and HS diploma/GED. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; schedule Mon-Thu 3pm-7pm and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Bursar Coordinator or 2+ years as a bookkeeper.
• Proficient with MS Excel and QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of budgeting and cash flow management.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day cash management.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Submit delinquent accounts to collection.
• Maintain tuition receipts and refund processing.
• Liaise with accountant and other departments.
• Provide reports to administrators and other government agencies.
