Job summary

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union in Austin, TX is seeking a Branch Member Service Representative (MSR) Float for the North Austin Region. This role blends teller and personal banker duties to deliver friendly, proactive service to members and prospects.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour with a sign-on bonus totaling $1,250 across six months. Bilingual Spanish/English certification adds $2.00/hour. Flexibility to work Monday–Saturday and to cover multiple branches is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of work experience in a financial institution, customer service, or sales preferred.
• Attendance and punctuality are critical; must work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule.
• Must be able to cover staffing at any location within the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, professional service to members, prospective members, and RBFCU staff.
• Process transactions in person, video conference, drive-thru, and telephonic channels.
• Maintain cash controls and negotiable instruments per policies and laws.
• Engage in needs-based conversations to uncover financial needs and recommend products.
• Support sales culture and uphold branch standards and accountability.
• Respond to Member Service Center requests as a Branch Reservist.
• Assess deposits for fraud risk and impersonation to mitigate losses.
• Assist with opening, updating, and closing accounts and understand RBFCU policies.
• Prepare teller reports and escort members as requested.
• Observe safety procedures and report hazards.
• Train and work at any branch within the region as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
