Job summary

Del Sol Furniture & Mattress in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced bilingual bookkeeper to join our in-house accounting team. You will handle daily cash posting, reconciliations, payables, and payroll-related tasks for four stores in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or AP/AR experience.
• Strong QuickBooks skills: entering, reconciling, and correcting transactions.
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, and VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Comfortable working across two screens and several systems at once.
• Clear, professional communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and post daily cash and payment transactions from our four stores.
• Match deposits to daily sales and resolve anything that doesn't tie out.
• Enter vendor bills, process payments, and keep payables current.
• Record transactions in QuickBooks and our retail POS system.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Support month-end close and prepare schedules for our accountant.
• Answer vendor, store and internal questions by phone and email, in English and Spanish.
• Keep records organized: scanning, filing, and document management.
• Help us test and roll out new automation tools in our accounting process.
