Granicus, a Govtech leader, seeks an Accounting professional in Puerto Rico to maintain accurate billing records, manage collections, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and other teams.

You will perform invoicing, dispute resolution, and audits while using NetSuite or Salesforce and the Microsoft Office suite. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, and you will be part of a dynamic accounting team supporting government clients.

Qualificações

• 1-2 years of accounting-related experience, including Billing and Accounts Receivable.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate records of billing activities, collections efforts, customer communications, and payment status.
• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue balances and delinquent accounts.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and past-due payments to facilitate timely collection.
• Escalate delinquent accounts to management or appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
• Update account records with payment activity, collection notes, disputes, and follow-up actions.
• Assist with the preparation, generation, and distribution of customer invoices.
• Assist in researching and resolving billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer disputes.
• Maintain customer account information, payment terms, and billing records in company systems.
• Provide documentation and support for annual external audits and other compliance requests.
• Prepare and distribute Accounts Receivable aging reports and collection status updates as requested.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and other internal teams to resolve collection issues.
• Participate in cross-functional projects impacting billing, collections, credit, and cash application processes.
