Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide community support and case management for clients, including intake screenings and service planning in a culturally aware environment.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field, two years of related experience, and must obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in Behavioral Health, Health Sciences, or related field and two years of related work experience.
• Eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration from the State Health Department; license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary community support and case management.
• Conduct intake screenings and develop Client Service Plans.
• Make referrals and assist clients in accessing services.
• Maintain case files and report to the Program Manager.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with interdisciplinary staff.
