Job summary

Centria Autism in Snellville, GA is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and use evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and encourage compassionate, patient team players. The role requires standing/walking and lifting up to 50 pounds; pay rate is $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and a team player.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Support children and families through training and daily activities.
