Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in McKinney, TX. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, delivering individualized intervention plans and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role involves physical activity with children (lifting up to 50 pounds) and may require standing, walking, and bending; pay ranges from $18 to $25 per

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, crouch, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Sits down and stands up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Runs or moves quickly as needed to interact with and for the safety of your client(s).
