Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking a bilingual Behavior Technician (RBT or entry-level) to support children with autism in home-based ABA sessions after school hours (3-7pm). The role focuses on implementing plans, recording progress, and collaborating with families under a BCBA supervision.

The position offers part-time hours (12–20 per week), growth opportunities toward BCBA, and educational/training support. A driver’s license and personal vehicle are desired for home visits.

Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Strong interpersonal skills are important for working with children and families.
Experience with children is a plus.
Must have a tablet or laptop to use during sessions.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized ABA-based plans under supervision of a BCBA.
Observe and record client progress and behaviors daily.
Manage challenging behaviors using ABA principles.
Assist clients to acquire academic and life skills.
Communicate professionally with parents and team members.
Complete daily paperwork and data entry in the online system.
