Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking a bilingual Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism in in-home ABA sessions. The role is part-time (12–20 hours weekly) and requires Spanish and English fluency, patience, and a passion for helping families.

You will implement treatment plans under a BCBA, record progress, manage behaviors, and communicate with parents and clinicians. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are needed; a Tablet or laptop is required for data collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification if obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
• Tablet or laptop required for sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic or life skills as needed.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Participates as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection in the online database.
• Participates in continuous training programs to enhance skills.
