Job summary

First Convenience Bank is seeking a friendly, customer-focused teller in Fort Cavazos, TX. You will provide prompt service, explore customer financial needs, and promote bank services. This role requires bilingual communication in English and Spanish and cash-handling capabilities.

The position includes cash vault operations, balancing ATM/coin machines, and achieving monthly targets. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both Spanish and English.
• 3–6 months customer service experience preferred.
• 3–6 months experience handling and balancing large sums of money preferred.
• Must pass background check and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to all customers
• Explore customer financial needs to recommend services and products
• Conduct business development visits to promote the bank s services and products
• Assist customers with banking/financial needs
• Remain knowledgeable about products, fees, policies and current offers to assist customers with product suggestions
• Cash handling and adherence to proper balancing procedures
• Accountable for the achievement of monthly targets as assigned
• Operate the cash vault according to established policy and procedures
• Balance the ATM and coin machine
• Assist customers through the commercial teller window
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned
• Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time dependent upon branch location
• Schedules are prepared based on business need and subject to change at any time.
• Operate a computer and other office machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
