Job summary

Fhnb is seeking a friendly, bilingual teller at Fort Cavazos campus in Texas to provide prompt service, balance cash, and promote banking products. You will interact with customers, assess financial needs, and work to achieve monthly targets in a fast-paced branch environment.

The role requires you to communicate in English and Spanish, handle cash accurately, and maintain strong teamwork. Evening, weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate clearly in Spanish and English.
• 3–6 months experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• 3–6 months experience handling and balancing large sums of money preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Background investigation must be cleared.
• Able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to all customers.
• Explore customer financial needs to recommend services and products.
• Conduct business development visits to promote the bank's services and products.
• Assist customers with banking/financial needs.
• Remain knowledgeable about products, fees, policies and current offers to assist customers with product suggestions.
• Cash handling and adherence to proper balancing procedures.
• Accountable for the achievement of monthly targets as assigned.
• Operate the cash vault according to established policy and procedures.
• Balance the ATM and coin machine.
• Assist customers through the commercial teller window.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
