Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, involving receipt and payment of cash, in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and accounts to offer bank products and services.
• Follow established bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Aim for monthly new account production as assigned by management.
• Participate in active sales environment and in-store prospecting as needed.
• Process deposits and cash transactions and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and check endorsements.
• Detect counterfeit items and verify identifications.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services and products.
• Serve a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Perform other tasks requested by supervisors related to bank operations.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Approval limits based on authority levels.
