Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Mount Olive, NC is hiring a Branch Banker who will act as a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience. You will grow retail customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive marketing of banking products and digital solutions.

You will handle teller duties, assist with deposits and loans, maintain compliance, and participate in community events. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, and flexibility with hours is expected to meet

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to explain complex solutions in a simple to understand way.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by creating warm, welcoming, and personalized interactions with every customer, every day.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand financial needs and clearly explain retail banking products, services, and digital solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.
• Provide dependable, efficient service while maintaining professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
