Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Service Cashier / Receptionist. You will be the front-line representative, greeting customers, directing them to the right department, and handling calls with professionalism.

The role requires excellent communication, a friendly demeanor, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with opportunities to grow within the service team.

Qualifications

• Must speak clearly on the telephone and convey professionalism to callers and customers.
• Strong communication with customers and employees.
• Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish) is a plus.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine the reason for their visit.
• Direct customers to the correct department and answer basic inquiries.
• Take messages with caller details and relay to appropriate parties.
• Enter data into the prospect tracking system and manage the switchboard.
• Provide basic information to callers and maintain the telephone roster.
• Perform clerical and accounting duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Other duties assigned by management.
