Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Minnesota is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. The role requires greeting customers, assisting with parts selection, handling cash, processing returns, resolving complaints, stocking shelves, and operating store equipment after training.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support store management in completing assigned tasks.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store and quote prices.
• Maintain cash drawer and process payments accurately.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Perform daily stocking, planogram updates, and store upkeep.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if needed.
