Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Social Science/Humanities Research Associate III to support the IDEAL study. The role administers assessments, manages participant data, and conducts bilingual family outreach to advance autism research in Latino children.

This in-person, full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work directly with young children and families.
• Willingness to work full-time, in-person.

Responsibilities

• Administer developmental, language, behavioral, and autism assessments to children and families.
• Follow study protocols and project-specific fidelity procedures.
• Enter data into REDCap and other project databases.
• Conduct bilingual participant outreach, coordinate scheduling, and provide direct family communication to support enrollment and retention.
• Code video and/or audio session recordings.
• Complete inter-rater reliability checks as assigned.
• Support day-to-day lab operations (e.g., training, materials prep, session logistics).
• Other duties as assigned.
