Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Social Science/Humanities Research Associate III for the IDEAL study at the Pickle Research Campus. You will administer developmental and language assessments, manage participant data, and conduct bilingual family outreach to advance autism research in Latino children.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and full-time in-person commitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, communication sciences and disorders, human development, or related field with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work directly with young children and families.
• Ability to commit to a full-time, in-person position.

Responsibilities

• Administer developmental, language, behavioral, and autism assessments to children and families.
• Enter data into REDCap and other project databases.
• Conduct bilingual (English and Spanish) participant outreach to support enrollment and retention.
• Code video/audio session recordings and complete inter-rater reliability checks as assigned.
• Support day-to-day lab operations and session logistics.
• Other duties as assigned.
