Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a part-time Spanish-English bilingual research assistant to support bilingual language development research with children. You will perform data management, administer assessments in Spanish and English in school contexts, transcribe language samples, and support lab administration.

Previous research or related fields preferred; opportunities to present findings.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with proficiency in both languages.
• High school diploma and at least one year of college coursework or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work directly with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare stimuli and develop test procedures for language tasks.
• Assist in data collection, data processing, and procedures in research studies.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain documentation on lab conditions.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Collect and analyze data, reporting findings to the PI and staff.
• Assist in recruitment, scheduling, and testing of research participants.
• Utilize computers to analyze and plot results from experiments.
