Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager with sales, customer service, and store operations. This role involves leading the team during shifts, coaching members, and assisting in hiring processes to ensure qualified candidates join the team.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and Assistant Manager Certification are required.
• RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver exceptional customer service for retail and professional customers.
• Manage store operations in the Store Manager’s absence and during opposing shifts.
• Assist in recruitment tasks: scheduling, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
• Ensure accurate processing of transactions, returns, exchanges, and invoicing; manage visuals and merchandising per policy.
