O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and store operations. You will lead team members to deliver exceptional customer service and manage the store during manager absences or opposing shifts. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The role emphasizes hiring, coaching, and maintaining standards for store performance, with a focus on customer experience and efficient operations across all store functions.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team executes related programs.
• Work with the store manager to staff the retail sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager with setting team goals, coaching, and ensuring training is current.
• Participate in hiring tasks: recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure phones are answered per company policy and that transactions and returns are processed efficiently.
