Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence and guide daily store activities to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staff execute service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and weekends.
• Coach and mentor team members, set goals, review performance and training compliance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure calls and inquiries are answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and other orders in a timely manner.
• Manage returns, exchanges and refunds accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate internal messages.
• Maintain schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out practices.
• Perform opening/closing duties and bank deposits.
• Maintain store facilities and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
