O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Indiana to assist the Store Manager in daily operations, sales growth, and customer service excellence. The role requires supervising staff, guiding training, and ensuring efficient store processes across multiple duties.

Qualified candidates should have Sales Specialist Training and relevant certifications. Bilingual abilities (Spanish encouraged) are a plus, and the position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak business hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and ensuring training is up to date.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure qualified hires.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely and customers contacted upon shipment arrivals.
• Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders are handled efficiently.
• Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently with correct refunds and proper staging.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Make sure Zipline messages are communicated, and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed.
• Ensure team members comply with policies including schedules, approvals for changes, and clocking in/out.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties including day end procedures, money security, and bank deposits.
• Assist in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
