Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Avon, IN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team when the Store Manager is absent or on opposing shifts, ensuring top-notch service to both retail and professional customers.

Responsibilities include supervising service levels, staffing during peak hours, coaching team members, assisting in hiring, processing returns, and ensuring all store processes run

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Work with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak business hours.
• Assist the store manager in hiring, interviews and candidate evaluation.
• Ensure all store processes (returns, exchanges, invoicing, transfers) run smoothly.
