Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Kansas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the store team in servicing customers and manage during the Store Manager’s absence. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will collaborate with management to hire, train, and coach team members, ensure accurate processing of orders and returns, and maintain high standards of store execution.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training required or beneficial.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and implement service programs.
• Assist in staffing the sales counter during peak hours and manage scheduling.
• Participate in hiring processes, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure orders, transfers, and returns are processed promptly and communications are clear with customers.
• Oversee daily opening/closing duties, money handling, and security checks.
• Coordinate merchandising tasks and shop cleanliness with store management.
