O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will lead the team in servicing customers and manage the store during absences or opposing shifts.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and certifications required.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and execute on service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing at the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist store manager with setting goals, coaching, and training.
• Participate in recruiting, interviews, and selection of qualified team members.
• Answer phones per company policy and manage communications.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store orders promptly.
• Use electronic PO ledger for special orders and outside purchases.
• Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and proper merchandise invoicing.
• Coordinate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks with the team.
• Ensure compliance with schedules, clock-ins, and security procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
• Maintain building, parking lot, signage/lighting, and delivery vehicles.
