Bickerdike is hiring a BILINGUAL Assistant Property Manager (Affordable Housing) in Chicago, IL for full-time work. You will manage occupancy, recertifications, subsidies, and leasing activities while ensuring compliance with HUD and regulatory requirements.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, strong organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to handle tenant relations, payment processing, and coordinated inspections.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years of property management experience.
• HUD, LIHTC, Affordable Housing and Section 8 experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensure annual and interim tenant recertifications, inspections, and follow-ups; file maintenance work orders.
• Screen applicants for vacancies; present eligible cases to Property Manager; show apartments; prepare leases and move-ins.
• Process HUD subsidy payments and TRACS transmissions; coordinate with HUD and IHDA; troubleshoot TRACS errors.
