Bickerdike Housing Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Bilingual Leasing Agent (Affordable Housing) to manage the application and leasing process for low- and moderate-income families. The role requires at least 3 years of leasing experience, bilingual English/Spanish, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain a Leasing Agent License.

You will screen applicants, prepare leases, coordinate inspections and manage waitlists in a full-time, non-exempt role with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related Leasing experience.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Leasing Agent License.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Screen applicants for vacant units and prepare eligible cases for committees.
• Complete landlord verifications, income certifications, credit and background checks.
• Ensure leases are reviewed prior to signing and maintain filing systems.
• Coordinate annual inspections and follow-up duties, including work orders.
• Manage waitlists and report to owners, government agencies and others as needed.
• Report tenant problems to the Leasing Manager.
