Qualifications

High school diploma required; two- or four-year degree is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Affordable housing leasing experience required (2 years minimum).
State of Illinois AMP Leasing Certificate or ability to obtain it.
Experience with Tax Credit programs and affordable housing.
Excellent communication skills; English/Spanish fluency required.
Confident, positive attitude; able to interact with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and communicate issues to the Property Manager and Property Supervisor.
Process re-certifications, assist with forms, rent calculations, and leases.
Inspect site grounds and common areas regularly.
Monitor make-ready status of vacant apartments.
Conduct housekeeping home visits and marketing outreach.
Advocate for residents with public and private agencies.
Carry out rent collection and delinquency/eviction procedures per policies.
