Job summary

Aitworks Inc seeks an Assistant General Manager for a high-end West Hollywood restaurant. You will be the GM’s right-hand, drive daily operations, guest experience, and financial monitoring across all units.

You will lead staffing, training, and procurement efforts, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and delivering exceptional hospitality. DOE salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Japanese and English required.
• 3+ years management in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
• Experience supervising 10+ staff preferred.
• Total hospitality industry experience 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the GM’s second-in-command and support daily restaurant operations.
• Maintain operational continuity and uphold company standards in the GM’s absence.
• Oversee daily floor operations, including service execution and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervise unit-wide staff including receptionists and janitorial team members.
• Oversee reception operations, including reservations and guest communication.
• Monitor health and safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and facility maintenance.
• Prepare, analyze, and present weekly sales and operational reports.
• Collaborate with partner restaurants to support budgeting and strategic planning.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives across unit operations.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding for unit-level team members.
• Manage labor scheduling and performance evaluations.
