Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks an Assistant Educator for La Jornada to assist teaching staff, help develop lesson plans, and monitor academic progress of each child. You will collaborate with educators to deliver daily plans and support classroom operations in the event of teacher absence.

The role requires an Associate degree in education or early childhood education, plus 2+ years of related experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in education and/or early childhood education is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a Teacher Assistant or Paraprofessional in a classroom with minority children.
