Job summary
Art of The World Gallery is seeking a Sales Specialist in Houston to drive growth and engage with clients. The role requires a strong sales mindset, bilingual communication in Spanish and English, and the ability to handle artwork and crates over 100 lbs while greeting visitors at the front desk.
The ideal candidate is punctual, personable, and ready to interact with clients during events and exhibitions, with a background in art being a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Able to lift 100 lb artwork/crates.
Responsibilities
- Help implement sales strategies.
- Provide administrative support to the gallery.
- Work events and assist with exhibition openings.
- Maintain calendars and appointments.
- Learn about each artist the gallery represents and give tours to guests of the gallery.
- Receive and make calls looking for new customers.
- Send e-mails to corporations, architects, and interior designers to offer our services for their projects or collections.
- Always be on time at the gallery and for appointments.
