You will handle inpatient and outpatient scheduling, communicate clearly with patients, collect necessary information, and maintain a high standard of professional service in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using Appointment Scheduling Specialist processes.
• Schedules all surgeries, procedures, tests and referrals by physicians.
• Answers calls, schedules appointments, and collects insurance information.
• Provides patient instructions and coordinates pre-certifications.
• Maintains professional customer service in all contacts.
