Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Specialist to lease, market, and maintain strong resident relations at our community in Illinois. The role requires professionalism, engagement with residents and staff, and a proactive approach to community success.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in sales or customer relations, experience with low-income housing/tax credits, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. Proficiency with Yardi and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual English & Spanish is highly desired.
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, email.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Connect with residents and staff to build a sense of community.
• Greet, qualify prospects, and record visits and applications in the system.
• Demonstrate model and apartment features to prospects and close leases.
• Assist in renewals and coordinate with the Community Manager.
• Maintain resident files and process lease paperwork in Yardi.
