Under supervision, you will process referrals, schedule intakes, verify Medicaid eligibility, and coordinate funding, while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires high school equivalent education, strong organizational and computer skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Entry position - High School or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail).

Responsibilities

• Ensures referral information is complete for database entry.
• Verifies eligibility for Medicaid.
• Secures funding for clients.
• Notifies clients and referral sources about insurance eligibility.
• Schedules and confirms intake appointments.
• Assigns chart numbers to new clients.
• Requests funds from funding sources via e-mail or fax.
• Faxes initial PCP forms.
• Maintains ongoing communication with referral sources.
