Job summary

Total Quality Logistics in Chicago, IL, is hiring a Bilingual Account Representative to support a fast-paced sales team. The role focuses on cross-border shipments, maintaining relationships with customers, and solving freight issues 24/7/365.

Training is provided to grow into a high-performing logistics specialist with uncapped commission potential. You will work in a dynamic, in-office environment, using state-of-the-art systems to manage shipments, negotiate pricing, and ensure customer

Qualifications

• No experience required; accelerated training program in logistics.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, able to communicate with customers.
• Willing to learn complex logistics solutions and provide great service.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with sales team and customers to support cross-border shipments (Mexico).
• Manage projects from start to finish and oversee shipments to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Collaborate with sales to provide competitive pricing and input shipment details in systems.
• Coordinate with support to ensure shipments are serviced properly and assist with billing when needed.

More than just an entry level sales role, you will be responsible for supporting and working with an established sales team to identify areas of opportunity with their customers to drive revenue. No experience necessary; you will start your career in an accelerated training program to learn the logistics industry. Once training is complete, you focus on growing new and existing business by presenting TQL customers with our transportation services and handling freight issues 24/7/365.

What you'll be doing

• Communicate with the sales team and customers to build and maintain ongoing relationships with customers that have Mexico cross-border shipping needs
• Manage projects from start to finish while overseeing daily shipments and resolve issues to ensure pickups and deliveries are on time
• Work with the sales team to provide and negotiate competitive pricing
• Input, update and manage shipment information in our state-of-the-art systems
• Collaborate with the support team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properly
• Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed
