Job summary

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Bilingual Account Representative to join an award-winning team. You will support a seasoned sales group, grow new and existing business, and handle freight issues 24/7/365 in a fast-paced in-office setting.

You will start in an accelerated training program and must be fluent in Spanish and English, with a high work ethic and customer-focused mindset; college degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support sales team and build/maintain relationships with customers with cross-border shipping needs.
• Manage shipments from start to finish and resolve issues to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Work with sales to provide and negotiate pricing.
• Input and manage shipment data in our systems.
• Collaborate with support to ensure each shipment is serviced properly.
• Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed.

Once training is complete, you focus on growing new and existing business by presenting TQL customers with our transportation services and handling freight issues 24/7/365.

What you'll be doing:

• Communicate with the sales team and customers to build and maintain ongoing relationships with customers that have Mexico cross-border shipping needs
• Manage projects from start to finish while overseeing daily shipments and resolve issues to ensure pickups and deliveries are on time
• Work with the sales team to provide and negotiate competitive pricing
• Input, update and manage shipment information in our state-of-the-art systems
• Collaborate with the support team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properly
• Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed
