Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Account Development Representative in Placentia, CA to initiate and manage relationships with customers and serve as the point of contact for coordinating selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with target accounts. You will conduct face-to-face calls, phone contacts, and targeted selling events while logging all account interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as scheduled, with/without accommodations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with the Target Account list.
• Make In-Sight phone contacts and organize targeted selling events.
• Develop strategies to grow sales and profits for key and existing customers.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding and supporting their business.
• Conduct product demonstrations to support solutions for customers.
• Develop relationships with stores to achieve business goals.
• Generate leads and assist in pricing quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports as required and present to stakeholders.
• Give sales presentations to prospective clients and coordinate with marketing programs.
• Understand and promote company programs and submit sales contracts for orders.
• Visit clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
