Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Account Development Representative to manage relationships with customers and drive new and incremental sales. You will coordinate selling efforts with a targeted account list, conduct face-to-face and phone calls, and organize selling events to grow business.

You will develop strategies to build strong customer relationships, conduct product demonstrations, and prepare quotes and contracts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in retail, sales, or customer service
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willing to work varied hours including evenings/weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Coordinate selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with target accounts
• Conduct face-to-face and phone calls with key customers
• Organize targeted selling events and product demonstrations
• Develop strategies to grow sales with key and existing customers
• Build relationships by understanding customer business and needs
• Prepare and present sales contracts and quotes
• Log all contacts with target accounts and maintain client records
• Support marketing programs and promotions with sales actions
