Job summary

Motivate LLC in Boston is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee daily service delivery operations for the bikeshare program. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure safety and performance, and drive continuous improvements across shifts, including 2:00 PM–12:00 AM and 6:00 AM–4:00 PM schedules.

You’ll partner with teams to meet metrics while maintaining a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising hourly operations teams.
• Experience in both warehouse and field fleet operations.
• Experience working with a union workforce.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quick software learner.

Responsibilities

• Develop scheduling and daily supervision of the service delivery team; ensure shift processes run smoothly.
• Conduct daily supervision and training; monitor performance to meet metrics.
• Lead daily operational standups with shift goals and safety topics; report daily metrics.
• Use performance data to design and modify procedures to meet/improve targets.
• Ensure safety and quality control processes are in place and followed.
