Job summary

Motivate is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee daily activities of bikeshare service delivery operations in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise staff, empower teams with resources, and partner across departments to drive improvements while upholding safety and performance standards.

The role requires prior supervision of hourly operations, experience with field and warehouse operations, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hourly warehouse/field fleet teams, incl. union environments
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse audiences
• Current driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop scheduling and conduct daily supervision of the service delivery team; ensure the beginning and end of shift process run smoothly
• Conduct daily supervision and training of employees; monitor performance on shift to ensure the department meets all metrics
• Lead daily operational standups including shift goals and safety topics, record and report daily operational metrics
• Utilize performance data to design and modify operational procedures to ensure performance metrics are met and improved
• Ensure that safety-related and quality control processes are in place and followed
