Job summary

Motivate is seeking a qualified Assistant Operations Manager to ensure efficient daily activities of service delivery operations for Boston's bikeshare system. The assistant operations manager will supervise operational staff, empower employees with resources needed to conduct their duties, and drive improvements while maintaining safety and performance standards.

The starting schedule is Wed-Sat, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, with potential changes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hourly operations teams in warehouse and field settings.
• Strong safety orientation with drive to meet metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop scheduling and supervise service delivery team shifts.
• Lead daily standups and report operational metrics.
• Monitor performance and implement procedures to improve KPIs.
• Ensure safety and quality control processes are followed.
• Coordinate with team members to drive improvements in operations.
