Job summary

Motivate seeks a Field Service Technician for our Boston bikeshare system. You will maintain station terminals and components, travel across the system, check docking stations, and ensure operations with schedules that may shift under a bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Background in electronics, repair, construction, or related fields.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in outdoor urban environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and test functionality of station components.
• Troubleshoot station malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Demonstrate expertise in station hardware and software.
• Operate a vehicle and ride a bicycle in urban settings.
• Complete required reporting and participate in special projects.
