Job summary

Motivate LLC is seeking full-time Field Service Technicians (Station Technicians) to support Boston’s bikeshare system. You will maintain docking stations and components, perform diagnostics, and ensure reliable operation across the urban network.

The role requires technical aptitude in electronics and mechanics, safe driving, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds while working outdoors. Join a team focused on dependable service and community mobility.

Qualifications

• Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude; ability to troubleshoot and repair station hardware and software components.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and testing of station components and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot station malfunctions and execute both minor and major repairs.
• Operate a vehicle and bicycle while inspecting stations across the service area.
• Complete accurate and timely reporting and documentation for service work.
• Take on special projects as assigned by management.
