Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is recruiting a Retail Bike & Snow Technician in Woodbury, MN to service and repair bike and snow equipment in our Public Lands shop. You will handle assembly, maintenance, inspections, and repairs, while also learning sales and register duties to deliver an elevated explorer experience.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Prior experience in retail or service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability – including nights, weekend, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking up to 4 hours.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or aerial lift.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods up to 2 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, maintain, and repair bike and snow sports equipment per vendor standards.
• Build, inspect, and repair products purchased, rented, or serviced through Public Lands.
• Provide sales support and train in register functionality to enhance the explorer experience.
• Diagnose faults and provide accurate estimates; communicate repair recommendations.
• Preserve accurate shop records and contribute to workflow improvements.
